Ticketing Arrangement

The 15th National Games (NG) will be held from November 9 to 21, 2025, in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. This will be the first National Games co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and also the first time Hong Kong participating in hosting this national mega sports event. The 15th NG will stage competition events for 34 sports and mass participation events for 23 sports. Hong Kong will stage eight competition events, namely basketball (men's U22), track cycling, fencing, golf, handball (men), rugby sevens, triathlon and beach volleyball, while the mass participation event, bowling, was successfully held on August 22-24.

The 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities (NGD) and the 9th National Special Olympic Games (NSOG) will be held from December 8 to 15, 2025, following the 15th NG, also co-hosted by the three places. The upcoming NGD and NSOG will feature 46 events, with 37 events for the NGD and nine events for the NSOG. Hong Kong will stage four competition events, including boccia, wheelchair fencing, and table tennis (TT11) for NGD, and table tennis for NSOG. Additionally, Hong Kong will also organise a mass participation event of para dance sports.

Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will adopt the approach of "one platform, ticket purchase across three places". Starting today, members of the public can use their Hong Kong identity card or Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (commonly known as Home Return Permit) for real-name registration through the official online ticketing platform first and purchase tickets later. Tickets are on sale now and are launched in phases by competitions. Interested ticket buyers who have registered with real-name accounts on the above-mentioned platform may purchase tickets under the real-name arrangements when tickets are released. Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao residents may purchase tickets across competition events in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao on the official online ticketing platform.

The Hong Kong competition region has a total of 11 ticketed events. The first batch of tickets are available for sale from August 28 includes four events, which are beach volleyball, handball (men), basketball (men's U22) and rugby sevens. The second batch of tickets are available for sale from September 20 includes four events, which are track cycling, fencing, golf and triathlon. The remaining three events, namely boccia, wheelchair fencing and para table tennis (TT11) will be available for sale later.

The Guangdong and Macao competition regions will also launch ticket sales of 13 events in the second batch, among which six events of the Guangdong competition region, namely football (women's adult), volleyball (men's U20), volleyball (men's U18), rowing, boxing and gymnastics (rhythmic gymnastics), will be available for online sales at 10am tomorrow, while the ticket sale date of another four events, which are swimming (diving), tennis, volleyball (men's adult), football (men's U20), will be announced shortly. Regarding the three events to be staged in the Macao competition region, tickets for volleyball (women's adult) and karate will go on online sales on September 27, and for table tennis on September 28.

Ticketed Event / Prices

Q1: What ticketed events are included in the first batch of ticket sales? When will the remaining batch(es) of tickets be available for online sale?

A1:Tickets are available for sale by batches according to the competition schedules of the events. A total of 17 ticketed events, which encompass 13 events in Guangdong competition region and 4 events in Hong Kong competition region respectively, are included in the first batch and scheduled for online sale on 28 August. Please check out for ticketing dates for the remaining events at the official ticketing websites.

Q2: What are half-day and full-day tickets for Hong Kong events?

A2: Tickets for Hong Kong events are sold in the form of half-day or full-day passes. A ticket holder with one ticket may watch multiple competitions held at the same venue within the half-day or full-day period. Please note that no admission is allowed 30 minutes before the end of an event as scheduled.

Q3: What are the ticket prices for the 15th NG, the 12th NGD and 9th NSOG?

A3: Ticket prices are set in RMB. The face value of e-tickets is shown in RMB. Hong Kong residents can settle payment through electronic means. Tickets for Hong Kong events on offline sale at designated sales outlets in Hong Kong are paper tickets set at a value converted from RMB to Hong Kong dollars at a fixed exchange rate. The face value of paper tickets is shown in Hong Kong dollars and the converted rate once fixed will remain throughout. The ticket prices for Hong Kong events at the 15th NG range from RMB50 to RMB500 (i.e. from HK$55 to HK$549, while tickets for Hong Kong events at the 12th NGD and 9th NSOG are sold at a flat price of RMB20 (i.e. HK$22).

The designated offline service provider of the tickets for Hong Kong competition region is the China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited. Once sale begins, members of the public can purchase tickets for Hong Kong events directly at its 11 designated sales outlets on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon and the New Territories. People who purchase tickets at these sales outlets are not required to make prior registration on the official websites.

Q4: Can members of the public settle their payments in Hong Kong dollars on the official ticketing websites?

A4: The face value of tickets sold on the official ticketing websites is in RMB. The official ticketing websites support a variety of electronic payment methods including Alipay, WeChat and credit cards. Payments for tickets for Hong Kong events sold at the designated offline service provider (i.e. China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited) are made in Hong Kong dollars.

Real-name Registration

Q5: There are two separate official ticketing websites for the 15th NG and the 12th NGD and 9th NSOG. Do members of the public need to register separately on each website respectively?

A5: As the ticketing for the 15th NG and the 12th NGD and 9th NSOG is handled separately, members of the public need to register separate accounts on each website respectively.

Q6: Registered users can pre-fill the information of their own and up to 19 other spectators (i.e. a total of 20 spectators) on the official ticketing platforms. What is the purpose of this feature? Can these 19 spectators register their own accounts on the official ticketing platforms?

A6: This feature allows registered users to pre-fill spectators’ information to facilitate future ticket purchases. Registered users can purchase tickets for the 20 spectator entries saved in their list. If registered users wish to purchase tickets for others, they can delete existing spectators from the list and add an equal number of new spectators and their information accordingly.

Any individual who has already been listed as a spectator under another registered user’s account can register his/her own account on the official ticketing platforms. However, please note that each valid identification document can only be used to purchase one ticket for the same event (see Q9 below).

Q7: What is the use of emergency contact information collected during registration?

A7: Emergency contact information is collected to help the organiser contact the relevant parties more easily in the event of an emergency. The contact number can be a Hong Kong telephone number prefixed with “+852”.

Q8: How should the account password be set?

A8: The password must be a combination of at least 8 characters from two of the following categories: numbers, symbols, and English letters.

Real-name Ticketing

Q9: What identification documents are needed for Hong Kong residents to purchase tickets? Can they use their Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) passport?

A9: Hong Kong residents must use their Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID Card) to purchase tickets for Hong Kong and Macao events, and a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (commonly known as the Home Visit Permit) for Guangdong events.

Registered users who wish to watch events in other competition regions can pre-fill their identification document information required for respective competition regions. For instance, a Hong Kong spectator can pre-fill his/her name and HKID Card information as Spectator 1, and his/her name and Home Visit Permit information as Spectator 2.

Q10: Can Mainland residents use their People’s Republic of China passport and Macao residents their Macao passport to purchase tickets for Hong Kong events?

A10: Mainland residents holding an Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and Macao residents holding a Macao identity card, can purchase tickets for Hong Kong events at the 15th NG and the 12th NGD and 9th NSOG on the official ticketing websites. As the China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited is the designated offline service provider of the tickets for Hong Kong events, Mainland and Macao residents can also purchase tickets directly at its 11 designated sales outlets on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon and the New Territories (see Q14 below).

Q11: In what ways can children from Hong Kong aged 2 or above but under 11 purchase tickets?

A11: Children from Hong Kong under 11 with a HKID Card should use it to purchase tickets for Hong Kong events. If they are not HKID Card holders, a birth certificate should be used instead. Their HKID Card or birth certificate number should be provided in the field of HKID Card for any ticket purchases on the official ticketing platforms.

Children from Hong Kong under 11 who wish to purchase tickets for Guangdong and Macao events should use their Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, and their HKID Card/birth certificate, respectively.

Children from the Mainland and Macao who wish to purchase tickets for Hong Kong events must be holders of an Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and a Macao Resident Identity Card, respectively.

Q12: In what ways can toddlers aged under 2 purchase tickets and be admitted?

A12: Toddlers aged under 2 do not require a ticket but must be accompanied by a ticketed adult for admission. Hong Kong residents who bring a toddler to Hong Kong events must produce his/her HKID Card (if any) or birth certificate. Those attending Guangdong events must bring the toddler’s Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, while those attending Macao events must bring the toddler’s (1) HKSAR Re-entry Permit; or (2) HKID Card, HKSAR Re-entry Permit and/or HKSAR Passport.

Adults from the Mainland and Macao who bring a toddler to Hong Kong events are required to possess his/her Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and Macao Resident Identity Card, respectively.

Q13: How many tickets can a member of the public purchase at one time?

A13: Real-name ticketing is adopted in the 15th NG and the 12th NGD and 9th NSOG. Each valid identification document can only be used for purchasing one ticket for the same event. Depending on individual events, each order is limited to either three or six tickets for the same event. For all Hong Kong events, each order is limited to six tickets for the same event.

Q14: Where can members of the public purchase tickets besides the official online ticketing platforms?

A14: Besides the official online ticketing platforms, members of the public can purchase tickets from the designated offline service provider of the tickets for Hong Kong events, which is China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited. Once sale begins, they can purchase tickets for Hong Kong events at its 11 designated sales outlets on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon and the New Territories. People who purchase tickets at these sales outlets are not required to make prior registration on the official websites.

The 11 designated sales outlets are branches of China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited located in Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Kornhill Plaza in Taikoo, East Point City in Tseung Kwan O, Crocodile Center in Kwun Tong, West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, Bank Centre in Mong Kok, Tai Po, Sha Tin, Luk Yeung Galleria in Tsuen Wan and Tuen Mun Town Plaza.

Admission

Q15: How will tickets be verified upon admission?

A15: Real-name verification is used for admission to Hong Kong events. There are static and dynamic QR codes on paper tickets and e-tickets respectively. A ticket holder is allowed for admission only after he/she produces his/her identification document and scans the QR code on a paper ticket or an e-ticket through a ticket validator. Staff will verify the identity of a ticket holder when necessary.

Q16: Can a holder with a half-day or full-day ticket enjoy multiple entry to the venue? Are there different arrangements for the entry of full-day ticket holders?

A16: E-tickets and paper tickets for Hong Kong events contain part of holders’ name and information as shown in their identification document. Spectators with full-day and half-day passes may leave the venue during competitions and re-enter multiple times. However, for the sake of the security and orderly operation of Hong Kong events, they are required to verify their tickets whenever they re-enter the venue to prevent incidents such as ticket transfer or re-entry by an imposter. Please note that no admission is allowed 30 minutes before the end of an event as scheduled.
