Phase 1: Teams will be divided into Groups A and B while the rankings of each group will be determined by a single round-robin competition.

Phase 2: There will be a knockout competition. Winning teams will vie for the 1st to 4th positions, while others compete for the 5th to 8th positions. The 5th teams in the first phase from both Groups A and B will contend for the 9th and 10th positions.

Rules:

Each team may have 16 players at most and field no more than 7 players per match. Players may take a maximum of 3 steps without dribbling and hold the ball for up to 3 seconds.

A handball match is divided into two halves of 30 minutes each. A goal earns one point and the team with more goals wins.
