Team Hong Kong’s Historical Achievement
Since the first participation in the National Games in 1997, Hong Kong has participated in seven consecutive editions. The Hong Kong delegation has been wholeheartedly and vigorously competing, repeatedly achieving honours by embodying the spirit of Lion Rock. In previous iterations of the National Games, the Hong Kong Delegation actively competed in an average of 18 to 25 sports events, surpassing over half of the total offerings.
Hong Kong's medal journey at the National Games showcases a remarkable progression. From clinching a gold in road cycling upon our debut in 1997 to amassing 16 medals by the 13th National Games in 2017.
