Rules:

In a triathlon race, athletes must complete the entire race without breaks. Since there are no heats, the winner is determined outright in each leg of the race. The first athlete to cross the finishing line will be declared the champion.

Each team competing in a mixed relay event is made up of 4 athletes (2 men and 2 women), with the relay order of male, female, male, female. Each athlete must complete the same course. Though no baton exchange is required, athletes must make the handoff in a designated zone at the end of the course. The first team to cross the finishing line wins the event.
