All Together for 1 Million KM Challenge

"100-Day Countdown to the 15th NG & the 12th NGD & the 9th NSOG (Hong Kong)"

The 15th National Games (NG) and the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities (NGD) and the 9th National Special Olympics Games (NSOG), to be co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao for the first time, will be held from November 9 to 21, 2025 and from December 8 to 15, 2025 respectively.


100-Day to the National Games –

To engage the public in welcoming the 15th NG & the 12th NGD & the 9th NSOG, the National Games Coordination Office (Hong Kong) will launch the “100-Day to the National Games – All Together for 1 Million KM Challenge” from July 12 to 26, 2025. Participants will collectively aim to complete 999 900 kilometres of sports to support the National Games. And the final 100-kilometer sprint of the 1 Million-Kilometer challenge will take place on August 2 during "The Event for the 100-Day Countdown for the 15th NG, the 12th NGD and the 9th NSOG (Hong Kong)" at the Hong Kong Velodrome.

Participants who complete the challenge will receive a commemorative medal for the “100-Day to the National Games – All Together for 1 Million KM Challenge”. The first 1 000 finishers and 200 participants with the highest accumulated distance will be invited to witness the final 100-kilometer sprint of "The Event for the 100-Day Countdown for the 15th NG, the 12th NGD, and the 9th NSOG (Hong Kong)" at the Hong Kong Velodrome on August 2, where they will receive a special edition commemorative medal and a souvenir. On that day, there will be themed booth games and promotional exhibitions for the 15th NG, the 12th NGD and the 9th NSOG, as well as the appearances of the mascots "Xiyangyang" and "Lerongrong".
