School Promotion Programme

To boost the awareness, arouse interests and inspire students’ participation of the "15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games" (NG, NGD and NSOG) to be held in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the National Games Coordination Office (Hong Kong) (NGCO) is organising the "Elite Athlete Demonstration and Exchange Programme", "Guided Tour of Sports Event", "Roving Exhibition", etc., aiming to promote the sports events hosted by Hong Kong in schools. Hong Kong is ready, NGCO welcomes you to come to the competition venues to cheer for the athletes!

Athlete Demonstration and Exchange Programme

In collaboration with the "School Sports Programme" under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the National Sports Associations, the NGCO is organising the "Elite Athlete Demonstration and Exchange Programme" for the promotion of the "NG, NGD and NSOG" at schools. Elite athletes of sports events hosted by Hong Kong have been invited to share their experience, to demonstrate their techniques and encourage students to watch the competition events and cheer for the athletes at respective competition venues in November 2025.

Guided Tour of Sports Event

In collaboration with the "School Sports Programme" under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the National Sports Association, NGCO organised guided tours at the "Link Hong Kong Golf Open" for the first time from 21 to 24 November 2024. Through the guided tour, students can learn about the viewing points of world-class events, so that they can watch the 15th NG Golf Event in November and be more engaged!

Roving Exhibition

The NGCO is organising a thematic roving exhibition among the schools in Hong Kong, to provide a brief introduction of the history, the competition events to be hosted by Hong Kong and the competition venues of the "NG, NGD and NSOG". In addition, to enrich the knowledge of the "NG, NGD and NSOG", “Sports Smarties Challenge” and “National Games AR Selfie” are added.

As of March 2025, a total of 8 schools have participated. Participating schools include POH Chan Kai Memorial College, P.L.K. Siu Hon Sum Primary School, C.C.C. Heep Woh Primary School, Ma On Shan Ling Liang Primary School, S.K.H. Li Ping Secondary School, Jockey Club Ti-I College, CCC Kei Chi Secondary School and Yan Chai Hospital Chan Iu Seng Primary School etc.
